BOOKING TIMES
Bookings commence at the time stated on the calendar, therefore the studio cannot be accessed prior to this time.
If you require additional studio time this will be charged at an additional £25 per hour and must be paid on the day. This is offered at the discretion of staff who reserve the right to refuse to work extra hours, and this may not be available if there is another booking immediately after your slot.
Please ensure you leave time to tidy the studio and return it to its’ original condition before your studio time ends. If any excess cleaning or waste removal has to be made by our staff we reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee of £20.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
If a booking is cancelled more than 48hours in advance a full refund can be offered.
We reserve the right to keep a percentage of the booking fee if it is cancelled with less than 48hrs notice.
If you cancel between 24 and 48hrs notice you will receive a 50% refund.
If you cancel with less than 24hrs notice we reserve the right to keep your booking fee with no refund.
If you wish to alter your booking (e.g. change the date or duration) this can be done up to 48hrs in advance. We cannot accept alterations with less than 48hrs notice. Please contact us directly to do this.
We reserve the right to cancel studio bookings with and without notice when necessary.
DAMAGES AND LOSS
We cannot be held responsible for any equipment belonging to the hirer or their team that is broken or damaged during the booked time. Attendees should ensure their own equipment is insured through themselves.
If any of MCR Creative’s equipment is found to be faulty during booked studio time please let us know as soon as possible. We will endeavour to replace or fix this however cannot be held responsible for any delays or losses as a result.
Equipment listed is liable to change at any time due to prior damage. We will always try to inform you of this in advance and find suitable replacements, however cannot be held responsible for this.
If the hirer or a member of their team is directly responsible for damaging equipment due to negligence or misuse we reserve the right to charge for repairs or replacements.
We cannot be held responsible for any theft or damage to vehicles parked outside the property.
The hirer accepts full responsibility for their team members whilst attending the studios - we are not responsible for any injuries obtained during the booking. We will always make sure the studio is a safe environment to work in and will always inform the hirer and their team of health and safety points to be aware of within the studio.
OTHER
We accept animals in the studio however request that you let us know in advance (either through our booking form or directly).
We reserve the right to charge the owner for any damage, loss or mess caused by pets.
We have a strict no smoking policy within the facility, which includes e-cigarettes. Please contact us directly if you wish to use smoke machines as these may trigger the fire alarms.
MCR Creative has no liability to the client if the service is delayed or prevented by Acts of God - including (but not limited to): acts of war, civil commotion, fire, flood or storm, breakdown of machinery or failure of utility services.

Photography Services
All projects undertaken by MCR Creative Studios Ltd. are subject to the following terms and conditions.
1. Photography Brief
1a: Instructions on how you wish your products to be shot must be made clear to MCR Creative Studios Ltd a minimum of 24hrs before the date of shooting - this can be done through the booking form or via an emailed/messaged brief. If a brief is not provided MCR Creative Studios will shoot the products to the best of their ability, any re-shoots required would be subject to a new shoot charge. You must clearly advise where and how the imagery shot will be used and displayed.
2. Product Delivery & Arrival
2a: Product/s to be shot must arrive at the studio no later than 24hrs prior to the shoot date.
2b: The delivery and collection of products is the responsibility of the client, and if arranged by the studio additional charges will be applied, MCR Creative Studios will be responsible for any lost items or damage occurred in transit.
. 2c: It is the clients responsibility to make 3rd party claims to couriers such as Royal Mail/DPD etc in the case of undelivered or damaged goods.
2d: All products must arrive at the studio in a suitable condition for shooting. MCR Creative Studios Ltd. reserve the right to postpone shooting if the product is in poor condition or incomplete.
3.Turnaround Times
3a: All turnaround times are quoted on working days.
3b: Our normal working hours are Monday - Friday, 10am - 5:00pm.
3c: Any requests made outside these hours will be at the company’s discretion and availability and are subject to additional costs.
4.Payment
4a: We accept payment via Bank Transfer or Debit/Credit card. Clients wishing to use alternative payments should contact us prior to the shoot date to discuss this.
4b: All prices are exclusive of VAT which is charged at an additional 20%.
5. Unpaid Invoices
5a: If payment is not made by the due date specified in our invoice MCR Creative Studios Ltd. reserve their statutory right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
5b: In the event of an unpaid invoice MCR Creative Studios Ltd. reserves the right to suspend the provision of services until payment of all overdue invoices has been paid in full.
5c: If MCR Creative Studios Ltd. incur any costs in recovering the unpaid invoice(s) this is payable by the client.
6. Insurance & Liability
6a: It is the client's responsibility to insure products during transit to and from the studio, and whilst stored at our studio, to protect against damage, loss or theft. MCR Creative Studios does not provide insurance for client’s items whilst kept at the studio.
6b: If any staff of the client attends the studio for the purposes of a shoot they agree to take all reasonable precautionary measures, including signing a health and safety form for the purposes of the staff members own safety. They also agree to follow any guidance or instructions given by MCR Creative Studios Ltd. whilst on our premises.
7. Image Copyright
7a: MCR Creative Studios Ltd. retains copyright on all content supplied to clients. Once we receive full payment the client is granted an “all uses license” which permits them to use the images for the purposes of their business only, as per the brief. Subject to point 7e.
7b: If the client wishes to obtain copyright then this may be purchased at an additional 25% of the total job cost, which will be invoiced to the client. Following completed payment of this MCR Creative Studios Ltd. will assign full copyright to the client, subject to clause 7.d.
7c: If an invoice is not paid within the allocated time the “all uses license” granted by MCR Creative Studios Ltd. will not be granted and we reserve the right to retrieve all images and copies sent to the client.
7d: In all circumstances content supplied by MCR Creative Studios Ltd. cannot be used for the marketing of services that are directly in competition with MCR Creative Studios Ltd or its interests including but not limited to photographic and graphic design services.
7e: You must clearly advise where and how the imagery shot will be used and displayed. Content supplied by MCR Creative Studios Ltd cannot be used on any 3rd party website without gaining prior written consent from MCR Creative Studios Ltd.
8. Marketing & Promotion Materials
8a: MCR Creative Studios Ltd. reserves the right to use images and content it has created for marketing purposes and promotional material, such as for social media or web use. The client agrees this content can be used for such purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
9. Cancellation
9a: MCR Creative Studios Ltd. requires a minimum of 24hrs notice for the cancellation of a scheduled shoot. Failure to provide this may incur a 50% fee of the quoted project - as a genuine estimate of the lost resources that have been allocated to said shoot.
10. Ceasing Of Service
10a: The service provided by MCR Creative Studios Ltd. may be withdrawn at any time.
11. Acts Of God
11a: MCR Creative Studios Ltd. has no liability to the client if their service is delayed or prevented by acts of god, including (but not limited to) acts of war, riot, fire, flood, breakdown of machinery, failure of utility services or disruptions in transport networks.
12. Acceptance Of Terms & Conditions
12a: The client understands that by commencing with a shoot they have accepted the Terms & Conditions, which will be provided before a shoot by MCR Creative Studios Ltd. It is the clients responsibility to read the Terms & Conditions and raise any issues before the shoot date.
